Up and Comin

Another artist that I guarantee you'll hear sooner than later: KOVAS. The mixtape is heavy hitting, rockin tunes of his own dubbed genre: ghetto beat. He strays away from using samples, instead prefers to create his own music, composing soundtracks pulling from his Latin/Morrocaan background. Known to pick up multiple instruments to lace his tracks, this stimulus package is filled with bangers. He has produced and remixed for some of the biggest artist, on this mixtape itself has artists such as Diplo/Crookers (Speaking of which, check out The Cheese Stack for some of his cheesy tunes), Vampire Weekend, Kanye, MGMT, MIA, JT, Jim Jones... the list goes on and on. Heres a sample of what's to come

Oxford Comma - Vampire Weekend feat Kovas

Gorgeous - Kanye feat Kovas

S.H.

Kind of rare to have a rap group composed of legitimate mc's these days. Crooked I, Royce da 5'9", Joel Ortiz, Joe Budden form to bring deep and meaningful lyricism to the plate, a nice change to the current state of hip hop and rap i'd say

Wack MC's - Slaughterhouse

Exxxes - Joe Budden
